Meet at Millbrook Vineyards for wine tasting and vineyard tour. After the winery tour, you will follow your group leader to the Rhinecliff for your cooking class and lunch. The class will begin at approximately 11:00 am.

FROM POUGHKEEPSIE AREA:
Take Rt. 44 East from Poughkeepsie. One mile after passing under the Taconic State
Parkway, take a left onto Rt. 82 North. Travel Rt. 82 North three miles to Rt. 57. Turn right
onto Rt. 57 and travel 3.5 miles to Wing Road. Take a left onto Wing Road and turn right at the second drive.
FROM NEW YORK CITY AREA:
Take Major Deegan North (Rt. 87) to the Saw Mill River Parkway North. Follow the Taconic
State Parkway North to the Rt. 44 Millbrook/Poughkeepsie exit. Turn right off the exit onto Rt.
44 East. Follow one mile to Rt. 82 North. Turn left onto Rt. 82 and travel 3 miles to Rt. 57.
Turn right onto Rt. 57 and travel 3.5 miles to Wing Road. Take a left onto Wing Road and turn
right at the second drive.
FROM SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT/WESTCHESTER AREA:
Take Rt. 684 North to Rt. 84 West. Take 84 West to the Taconic State Parkway North. Follow
the Taconic State Parkway to the Rt. 44 Millbrook/Poughkeepsie exit (approximately 18
miles). Turn right off the exit onto Rt. 44 East. Follow one mile to Rt. 82 North. Turn left onto
Rt. 82 and travel 3 miles to Rt. 57. Turn right onto Rt. 57 and travel 3.5 miles to Wing Road.
Take a left on Wing Road and turn right at the second drive.
FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY AREA:
Take the Garden State Parkway or Rt. 287 North to the NY State Thruway North (toll road).
Take the NY State Thruway North to the Newburgh exit (Exit 17). Follow signs to Rt. 84 East.
Follow Rt. 84 East across the Hudson River (toll bridge) to the Taconic State Parkway North.
Follow the Taconic State Parkway to the Rt. 44 Millbrook/Poughkeepsie exit (approximately
18 miles). Turn right off the exit onto Rt. 44 East. Follow one mile to Rt. 82 North. Turn left
onto Rt. 82 and travel 3 miles to Rt. 57. Turn right onto Rt. 57 and travel 3.5 miles to Wing

The Rhinecliff is located 20 minutes northwest of Millbrook. Fron Millbrook Vineyards, return to Taconic Parkway and head north. Take the Red Hook/Rhinebeck exit of the Taconic State Parkway. Turn left onto Rte. 308 toward Rhinebeck. There is a forked junction with a large fork sculpture in the road Ð fork left there Continue for another 2 miles into Rhinebeck village. At village intersection (Rte 9 and 308) continue straight over past the Beekman Arms to your left. After 1 mile on Rte 308 there is a forked junction Ð keep left and straight on. You will pass the Amtrak Train Station on your right. Now follow the instructions into Rhinecliff past the Amtrak station.

Sprout Creek Farm and Le Chambord
Meet at Sprout Creek Cheese Farm in Poughkeepsie, and see how artisanal
cheeses are made in the age-old tradition of European farmstead cheese. After the
farm visit, you will follow your group leader to Le Chambord for your cooking class
and lunch. Class begins at approximately 11:00 am.

Take Route 55 East for 4 miles. Right on Noxon Road. Continue through 2 lights. Left on Lauer Road. The farm is on the right.

Stone Barns Center and Castle on the Hudson
Meet at Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, 80 rolling acres of gardens,
pastures and woods, where the rich traditions of community-based farming merge
with the 21st century only 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan. After the farm
tour, you will follow your group leader to Castle on the Hudson for your cooking
class and lunch. The class will begin at approximately 11:15 am.

Take 87 North (New York State Thruway) to Saw Mill River Parkway North to Exit 23, Eastview. At the light make a left. At the stop sign, make a right onto Lake Road. Lake Road will merge onto Route 448. Continue for approximately 0.8 miles. Entrance will be on the left.
FROM POINTS NORTH
Take Saw Mill River Parkway South to Exit 23, Saw Mill River Road/Eastview. At the light, turn right. At the stop sign, turn right onto Lake Road. Continue straight onto Route 448/Bedford Road approximately 0.7 miles. Entrance will be on the left.
FROM POINTS NORTH
Take the Taconic to the Route 100 exit (Millwood), then go south on 100/117 to Route 448
Continue on Route 448/Bedford Road approximately 1.7 miles. Entrance on the right.

FROM NYC, WEST SIDE
West Side Highway becomes Henry Hudson Parkway which becomes Saw Mill Parkway. Continue north on Saw Mill to Exit 21W (119 West) Tarrytown. Turn right onto Route 119. After fifth light, turn right onto Benedict Avenue. Follow remaining directions from CT above.
FROM NYC, EAST SIDE
FDR Drive/North to Major Deegan Expressway which becomes NY State Thruway. Pay toll. Continue on 87 to exit 9 (last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge), Tarrytown. Turn left onto 119 West, then right onto Broadway/Route 9 North. Then go to 3rd light. Turn right onto 400 Benedict Avenue (opposite Hackley School). Continue up the drive to the Castle.
FROM CT OR N. WESTCHESTER
Merritt Parkway or Interstate 95 South or 684 South to Cross Westchester (287 West). Take Exit 1 bear right onto Route 119 West. After the first light, turn right onto Benedict Avenue. Proceed to the second light, turn left into 400 Benedict Avenue at sign marking The Castle & Equus Restaurant (opposite entrance to Hackley School). Continue up drive to the Castle.
FROM LONG ISLAND
Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge to New England Thruway (95 North) or Hutchinson River Parkway North. Exit onto Cross Westchester Expressway (287) West toward Tappan Zee Bridge. Follow directions from CT above.
