Accommodations at The Inn at Green River Glowing with natural light and filled with over 100 antiques hand-chosen by owner/innkeeper Deborah Bowen, the Inn at Green River oozes romantic charm. Rooms at the Inn include the Thorsden: a large corner room with fireplace and deep double jacuzzi-style tub; the Merrill: a ground floor room opening onto a sunken terrace with fireplace; the Van Deusen: with Queen-size high pencil-post bed and fireplace; the Vanderhook: a ground floor room with private terrace and fireplace; the Martin Van Buren: with Cathedral ceiling and large soaking tub; the General Henry Knox: a large second floor room overlooking the front garden; and the Harvey Crandell: a second floor room overlooking the lower garden. Guests are welcome in two common rooms: the cozy library: a great place to relax and plan your activities, or browse through the Inn's book collection, and the living room in fall and winter: the perfect spot for aprés ski mulled cider or a cup of tea by the fire. |
