Reviews
"Pssst, keep this one a secret" whisper the wowed
who want this New American "find" at the Garrison
Resort for themselves; "phenomenal", "country
fresh" food is "tops", "service impeccable" and the
space done up in "fabulous taste"; add "magnificent
views" of "the mountains and river" from
"comfortable outdoor seating" and in all, it's "almost
perfect"; those who "can't wait to return" sigh "sadly,
they're open only April-November."
- Zagat 2007-2008
"If you're in the mood for a jaw-dropping view, may I suggest making a reservation at Valley
Restaurant, in Garrison.... The kitchen didn't miss a step, and neither did the sunset."
- Anne Daly, The Valley Table
Valley has enjoyed additional accolades including an "Excellent" review from The New York Times
"(the) seasonal American
menu shows a devotion to fine ingredients... like the food, the decor is a study in freshness" as
well as a three-star review in Crain's New York. Valley has been featured in national
publications from Bon Appetit and Town & Country to Esquire and Departures.
